Aluminum, galvanized, and copper metals are most common.
Which one is the best?
Aluminum will not rust and is the most typical gutter installed.
What is a seamless gutter?
This is exactly what it sounds like. It is a gutter that does not have seams for longer runs. This does not mean that it does not have any seams, because these are necessary at the corners and end caps. Also, with extremely long sections, a seam may be necessary.
Why is a seamless gutters better?
When gutters start to leak from age etc., it is usually at the seams. The fewer seams a building has, the less opportunity for future leaks.
